About me

Scientist.
Thinker. Creator.

I am an atmospheric researcher based in Japan, originally from Mongolia. My scientific work focuses on dust and aerosols — studying how mineral particles travel across continents and shape our climate system.

Beyond the lab, I am passionate about intentional living, faith, and equipping researchers with tools and mindset to do meaningful work. On YouTube, I share content on Christianity, time management, ikigai, academic writing, and tools like Zotero and Obsidian.

My goal is to live and work with purpose — and help others do the same.

Research

Areas of focus

Dust & Aerosol Transport

Studying how mineral dust from arid regions is lifted, transported, and deposited across East Asia and the Pacific — including the Kosa phenomenon affecting Japan.

Atmospheric Chemistry

Investigating the chemical composition of aerosols and how dust particles interact with pollutants, gases, and moisture during long-range transport events.

Climate & Radiative Forcing

Quantifying how aerosols affect Earth's energy budget, cloud formation, and regional climate variability across Asia and beyond.
